Discover Tasmania Zoo

Nestled in the foothills of the Tamar Valley, 18 kms from the CBD of Launceston, you will find Tasmania Zoo, the largest wildlife park in Tasmania.

Tasmania Zoo is situated on 900 acres of private native bushland and is home to the largest collection of native and exotic animals in Tasmania. The zoo is home to over 80 species of birds, Tasmanian devils, penguins, crocodiles, wombats, echidna's, kangaroos, quolls, reptiles, monkeys and much more.

While holidaying in Tasmania you can experience Tasmanian Devils up close and personal during feeding and interpretation times every day.  Watch the Devils feed at 10:30 am., 1.00 pm. and 3:30 pm. followed by the opportunity to pat one of the younger devils.

What's more, the Little Blue Penguin feedings and interpretations run at 10.00am and 4.00pm daily.
