Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm was established in 1984 when the Dornauf family planted twelve acres of raspberry canes on a north-facing hill on their property, just off the Bass Highway between Elizabeth Town and Deloraine.

In 1995 they built a café featuring stone, timber and large windows encouraging as much natural light as possible. Overlooking lush green lawns running down to a lake filled with water lilies, the garden features native trees and herbs with a gorgeous walk trail leading to the raspberry canes in the distance.

Bask in the sun either on their deck or picnic tables during summer and cozy up in front of the open log fire through winter. Throughout every season be tempted by some of their chefs’ delicious creations.

With desserts catering for all raspberry cravings mixed with their extensive menu, the chefs utilise the very best and freshest local produce available, creating wholesome country-style food.

The café is open 7 days per week from 7am to 5pm, and aside from the wonderful selection of raspberry products (available all year round) the shop sells fresh raspberries and strawberries during the picking season which is mid December to Mother’s Day in May.

If time is of the essence you can purchase some of their delicious raspberry delights as a takeaway, such as their famous chocolate dipped raspberries, or rich creamy raspberry ice cream.
